Sunday Stroll: Wish Tree

Our semi-regular series!‍ ‍Drop by as your weekend winds down to relax and explore the season’s sights and sounds at Hawkins Loop.

This month's free, all-ages, open trail day features a Wish Tree activity for guests to share their hopes and celebrate springtime. Meet neighbors and community leaders, enjoy open spaces, and share your hopes for the season ahead.

The "wish tree" is an ancient springtime tradition to celebrate renewal, growth, and hope by hanging written wishes on branches. Many cultures host this spring ritual around May 1st to celebrate Earth's rebirth.

NATURE NOTE: All wish tree materials provided and will be collected after the event to ensure the safety of the birds and other wildlife at Hawkins Loop

  • Light refreshments available for purchase

  • This event will be postponed in case of rain - please register for updates

All guests will be required to sign our Hawkins Loop event waiver in advance or upon arrival.
