Join the North Carolina State-Wide Star Party in Person County!

Skilled educators will guide groups through the dark night sky and acres of pasture and wooded trails at The Land at Hawkins Loop, a family-owned farm and nature-based event venue located less than 30 minutes from Durham, Hillsborough, Roxboro in beautiful Person County.

• Kendall Nelson, NASA Solar System Ambassador and Person County resident, will have powerful telescopes on hand or bring your own to set up on our stargazing lawn

• "Whisper in the Woods" trail walks to activate your senses while the natural world transitions from day to night

• Person County 4-H will have space-themed learning activities and bi-lingual star maps to share

• Hawkins Loop Snack Bar will offer pre-order and on-site purchases for refreshments
