Join us for our semi-regular community series! Enjoy this all-ages, open trail day at your own pace.

Special Guest: Meet writer Sheryl Cornett, author of the new romance/historical fiction novel No Secrets in this House. Sheryl’s poetry and literary criticism has been published widely, and she previously taught creative writing at NC State University for many years.

Sheryl will be available to meet readers and discuss her work. At 4pm, guests are invited to join Sheryl in a nature-based creative writing session.

There is no charge to attend our Sunday Stroll Series. Donations are appreciated for this month’s community partner, the Person County Arts Council.

Light refreshments will be available for purchase. No dogs, please.

Sheryl is the Hawkins Loop Artist in Residence for October, during which she will stay at the Hawkins Loop Guest House to draw inspiration from the grounds and enjoy rest to support her creative process.
