Get creative with our bird-related “make and take” workshops, featuring naturalist and illustrator Casey Girard of River Thrush Studio, our Hawkins Loop Summer Artist-in-Residence, and Hurdle Mills woodworker Simon Barth.
All ages and experience levels welcome! NC Youth Outdoor Engagement Commission will be awarding 2026 Birdwatching Outdoor Patches for participants under 18 years old.
